Our Murder Mystery weekends are for 2 nights with murder mystery entertainment on
both the Friday & Saturday evenings.

Arrive at The Best Western Argyll hotel, Dunoon on Friday at your leisure let our
team help you relax and unwind by escorting you up to your luxury bedroom. Unwind
in your room and get ready for the Murder Mystery action. Dinner is served approximately
at 7.30pm, join your fellow guests and our very talented actors from the Walking
Theater Company in the great dining room for dinner where all the action begins..
followed by musical entertainment!
Saturday morning: Wake up in your luxury rooms and then enjoy our famous full Scottish
breakfast at your leisure in the dining room served from 8.00am until 10.00.am.
Our actors will join you at breakfast and set the rules for the trail set ahead,
explore Dunoon with the trail that has been set, collect the clues and evidence
which points to all the areas of concern. Trail time between one and two hours –
depending on how many local bars are visited on the way!! Why not meet back at the
hotel for lunch with our extensive menus or enjoy our restaurant Rio with Spanish
Tapas or Italian cuisine. Then it will be time to get ready for a night packed full
of murder mystery entertainment. Be ready and waiting in the bar for 7pm to join
the Walking Theatre team, who will of course be joining you for your 5 course Gala
Dinner….then the fun begins.
Sunday morning: After a fun packed night of events, enjoy a leisurely Scottish Breakfast
between 8.30am -10.30am . Check out 11.00am.

After its popularity last year our Gangster nights are returning. Gangster &
Dolls a weekend away at Dunoon’s famous speakeasy hotel run by the infamous ‘Pudgy
Malone’
Spying Tonight: This theme is based around spies, undercover agents, secrets, villains
and murder. Spend the weekend interacting with other guests and our professional
actors into the world of secrets and danger. Join in the fun with fancy dress come
a Bond, Charlie’s Angel, Austin Powers or even Colombo. This award winning night
tests your knowledge of solving clues, ability to join in with the actors in the
plot if you have what it takes, even be murdered, and much more a really weekend.
Jamie’s Secret: This theme is based around a highland clan gathering for the wedding
between two clans, the weekend is packed full with betrayal, singing, drinking,
dancing. Bring along your kilts, tartan, skean du or jimmy hat. Join in the true
spirit of a highland clan wedding where you never know what is the truth? And who
is lying. This theme is exclusive to The Argyll Hotel with its history and richness
in character.
Haunted Hotel: This theme is based on the history of The Argyll Hotel which was
built in 1837, it has been the for front of the bloody and hauntings in Dunoon.
It is said to be the hotel is haunted by many different spooks and spirits and our
paranormal investigators are here to find out the truth. The weekend is full of
spooks, spirits, ghosts, murders and full on entertainment that will leave you telling
friends and family about your experience for years too come, that is if you make
back home…. Take the ghost hunt in the underground lairs of the hotel where many
have disappeared without trace, why have the hotel allocated two members of staff
to go into the cellars never alone??? This experience is not for the faint hearted
it explores all angles of paranormal exploration and lets you make contact with

A true Haunted Hotel experience in Dunoon!!!!
The Best Western Argyll Hotel, Dunoon which was built in 1837 is one of the oldest
landmark buildings in Argyll. The hotel has been known to be haunted for many years
by its resident ghosts which have settled in the hotel and watch the world go by.
The famous tower room which is known to have hangings taken place and watched by
locals, this is also the place where many lovers leaped to their deaths subjected
by torment from family differences. The underground lairs of the hotel which, a
century ago housed many secrets and ghastly activities. Is now a host to sightings,
sounds and disappearances. The management will only send two persons into the lairs
which now are the hotel cellars making sure that no-one is ever alone.
Package: Arrive in Friday evening to be greeted by our members of staff and escorted
to your luxury rooms, relax and unwind in your bedroom. Dinner is served at approximately
7.30pm enjoy dinner with our very own ghouls and hosts of the evening, the weekend
counteracts also as a Murder Mystery weekend where there will be actors entertaining
and setting a plot. After dinner once the plot has been set join our Paranormal
Investigator in a demonstration of what will be in store, this demonstration will
provide you will the knowledge if you possess the ability to see further and beyond.
After the demonstration the strongest and hearty can join our investigator in the
entrance area into the cellars for the beginning of our ghost hunt take the tour
of destiny. Let the evening unveil itself.
Saturday: Wake up if you have made it through the night to a leisurely breakfast
served between 8.00am and 10.00am, confer with our host around 9.15am about the
spooky trail around the town which enables you to pick up clues and motives for
the murder. Our Clairvoyant will be taking reservations for any kind of reading
you would like to take part book your space and have your secrets and fortunes told.
(Charges will apply). Dinner in the evening will be served at approximately 7.00pm
with the grand finale evening of traitorous murder and ghastly fun. Let you be entertained
and watch as all unfolds.
Sunday: Wake up and enjoy your breakfast between 8.30am and 10.30am relax and don’t
need to check out until 12.00pm.
